Caring For Our Neighbors in Crisis Friday, November 1st, 1:00 - 3:00 pm Christian Science Church 1017 Airline Rd. Members of the church are sponsoring a community event where a panel of individuals will present how they, or the organizations they represent, care for their neighbors in crisis. The forum will be a conversation on mental health needs, including abuses and addictions, where citizens have the opportunity to hear and ask questions of many of the city's mental and spiritual health care providers. Ginny Luedeman, CSB, will share how she overcame an addiction. Ginny is a spiritual healer and an international speaker. Event attendees will discover: · How to find their real worth · Prayer that erases fear and confusion · A love of God that heals mind and body Ginny was a hard rock singer. Her band, Morning Glory, played in concert with Janis Joplin, The Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix and The Rolling Stones. An LSD overdose brought her to the spiritual laws of healing found in Christian Science. Now, Ginny helps others overcome addictions and find mental, physical, and spiritual health. There will be no charge for attendance at either event. All are invited to attend. |
